Memory

Acrylic on canvas 70cm x 50cm

This is my first canvas painting aiming to depict a beautiful memory with friends. Foxes represent friends and daisy represents purity. The dreamy purple and fading background indicate the surreal and uncertain nature of memory.

The landscape is inspired by images of bronchial cilia, the hair-like projections in bronchus of lungs to move microbes and debris up and out the airways. I hope our memory works the same way where only memory of the good times remains.
